The practice of the customer being automatically redirected to the webpage offering the service is bad enough,. Plus I'm sure the online store is no doubt getting a piece of the action for every customer who unwittingly falls prey to this scam'. Let them know how you feel about this;. Post the names of the online stores on every blog site you come across:. Make them feel ashamed by attempting to squeeze a few more pennies out of loyal customers!. Contact your local television station and have them research this,. Bring them to their knees and shut them down/.
Remember what happened to Circuit City and the DivX program they tried to offer the consumer a few years ago? Circuit City was down for the count on that scheme?. Believe me, they are watchful! 13cda6e

| 1. Written by Anom on May 25, 2009 from silver spring, maryland, US I found a $12 charge on my credit card, looked back and found 8 more $12 charges over the past 9 months. I called them and they agreed to cancel my subscription and refund 2 months charges. They refused to refund the additional 7 months so I have to write to my state's attorney general's office. It seems that I subscribed to their services when I didn't uncheck a box when I bought a $3 cord at buy.com. It seems that by subscribing to their service at $12 a month, I get a small rebate for my next purchase at buy.com. WHAT A RACKET. |

| 3. Written by Steve M on November 18, 2008 from mountain view, california, US I got hooked into them through etix. It looks like etix is offering you a "loyal customer rebate", but in fact they are sending your VISA number to Reservation Rewards. The fine print says something about sharing your data with third parties, but nowhere does it say "we're going to give them your credit card number and they will start charging you". So I can't believe this is legal. BTW I called them, got a person (hit "0" at some point) and they said they would refund the fee, no argument. |

Written by Charged $200 by Reservation Re on July 29, 2008 from monrovia, california, US To: Webloyalty Consumer Affairs Reservation Rewards Shopper Discounts & Rewards I just found out these scumbags have been charging my credit card $20 a month ($10 each) since mid- 2007 until now (July 200 . If so many people don't know about your charges, how can they you say that customers intended to do business with them? They may slip their language in to preprinted forms, purposely hoping not to be noticed. This is the same ripoff tactic that has been used by people for hundreds of years since the first written contracts. |
